Each portrait session is thoughtfully designed to honor the beauty of your life, embracing the realness of today, not a perfected version of who you think you should be.

Merry Fitzpatrick is a portrait photographer based in Northern New Jersey. She specializes in authentic portraits rooted in love and presence.
Her relationship with photography deepened after losing her father to Alzheimer’s. As she grieved and searched for pieces of him in old photographs, she began to understand just how powerfully images connect us.
They hold not only the stories we’ve lived, but also reflections of who we are.
Because we all deserve to feel seen.

My work isn’t about perfection. It’s about truth, presence, and honoring who you are in this moment. I don’t just take pictures. I help you recognize the beauty that’s already there and give you something to return to when you need to remember.

A guided, heart-centered photography experience from start to finish:

Begin by filling out a quick inquiry form. I’ll follow up with all the details you need to prepare for your dream session and answer any questions along the way. Sessions are primarily on weekends, giving us space to create a relaxed, unhurried experience.

2. Feeling Empowered
From wardrobe guidance to tips for feeling at ease in front of the camera, I’ll support you every step of the way. My goal is for you to show up feeling safe, confident, and truly seen.

3. Love your images
After your session, we’ll connect over Zoom for a personal image reveal. Together, we’ll explore your portraits and products, helping you select the images that truly reflect your story and celebrate exactly who you are right now.
