About Merry

Hi, I’m Merry - I’m an intentional storyteller, connection-seeker, and yes, a true city girl at heart. I grew up in Hoboken, but I’m endlessly drawn to open skies, quiet sunsets, and water that reflects light just right.

I have always had a way of “seeing” that allows me to connect with those around me. I notice the in-between moments, the unspoken glances, the way someone softens when they feel safe. These are the memories that often go overlooked, yet they’re the ones that linger the longest. They tell the real story. They’re what I aim to preserve.

My love of photography deepened after losing my father to Alzheimer’s. As I searched for pieces of him in old photos, I realized just how powerfully images connect us. How they tell not only our shared story, but also who we are becoming.

Today, I use photography to help women, mothers, and dreamers feel seen, and to celebrate the stories they're living right now. Whether it's a branding session that reflects your inner fire or a portrait session that honors the beauty of your everyday life, I’m here to witness it with you.

And yes, I’m also known as “Aunt Merry” to my favorite crew of kids, an identity I wear with pride. They remind me daily of the power of presence and the magic in being known and loved just as you are.

It’s my honor to do this work and an even greater honor to do it with you.
